General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
1. Scope of Application
These General Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as "GTC") govern the contractual relationship between 1a Visum Service oHG (hereinafter referred to as "Service Provider") and the customer (hereinafter referred to as "Customer"). These GTC apply exclusively to all services offered on the website uk-evisa-express.com.
2. Service Description & Disclaimer
The Service Provider acts as a private commercial agency that processes applications for the UK Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) on behalf of the Customer. We are explicitly not part of the UK Government, UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI), or any official body. By using our service, the Customer commissions us to procure the ETA from the relevant authorities. The price charged includes the official government fees as well as our service fee for expedited processing, data verification, system maintenance, and 24/7 support.
3. Conclusion of Contract
The contract is concluded when the Customer completes the online application form and effects payment. The Service Provider immediately commences the execution of the order (processing of the ETA Application). The Customer expressly agrees that the service execution begins before the expiry of the statutory cancellation period.
4. Right of Withdrawal & Cancellation Policy
Exclusion of the Right of Withdrawal: Pursuant to § 312g para. 2 No. 1 BGB (German Civil Code), the right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services if the contract has been fully performed by the trader.
Since the "UK ETA" involves a digital service that is processed immediately upon payment, the Customer expressly waives their right of withdrawal by placing the order. Refund requests based on "change of mind" or "travel cancellation" cannot be honored once the processing has started.
5. Processing & Delivery
The UK ETA is a digital product. Confirmation is generally delivered via email within the selected timeframe (Standard, Urgent, or Super Urgent). The Service Provider is not liable for delivery delays caused by technical failures of the internet, the Customer's email provider (e.g., spam folder filtering), or force majeure related to UK government systems. The Customer is responsible for providing a correct email address.
6. Liability & Issuance
The Service Provider guarantees the proper formatting and forwarding of the application data to the issuing systems. However, we assume no liability for the actual entry permission granted by the UK authorities. The final decision on entry into the United Kingdom lies solely with UK Visas and Immigration (UKVI) and the UK Border Force.
The Service Provider is not liable for:
- Rejection of entry by UK Border Force officials.
- Errors in the data provided by the Customer (e.g., typos in passport numbers).
- Changes in UK travel regulations or immigration laws after the ETA has been issued.
- Flight cancellations or travel disruptions.
7. Refund Guarantee (Rejection Only)
We offer a voluntary "Money-Back Guarantee" solely in the specific case where an ETA application is officially rejected by the UK Home Office / UKVI due to reasons not attributable to the Customer (e.g. valid eligible passport, no serious criminal record). This guarantee does not apply to traveler cancellations, incorrect data entry by the Customer, or duplicate applications made elsewhere.
8. Data Protection
The Customer's personal data is processed solely for the purpose of ETA procurement in accordance with the GDPR (DSGVO). Data is transmitted securely via SSL encryption. Further details can be found in our Privacy Policy.
9. Final Provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is the registered office of 1a Visum Service oHG (Berlin), to the extent legally permissible. Should individual provisions of these GTC be invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall remain unaffected.
